The David Sweat for Superior Court campaign site presented a bit of a challenge. Because of the Georgia Judicial Code of Conduct standards, candidates for Judicial positions are restricted in what they can say and do during a campaign. The most important impact on the campaign site is that the candidate is prohibited from discussing issues.

So, we concentrated on presenting David's background, qualifications, and community involvement. We used a "Why should I vote for David?" section to let David address visitors directly. We also added a "Where are the Issues?" section to explain to visitors about the restrictions placed on the Judicial race.

Finally, we used the site as an educational tool. When we discovered that most people didn't actually know what a Superior Court Judge does, we explained it in "What is the Superior Court?"

And we made sure that visitors understood the historical importance of the election -- the first time in over 40 years that citizens could vote on an empty Superior Court seat!
